Panos Grigoriou

PhD in Law, University of Strasbourg. Professor of International and European Institutions at the University of the Aegean and holder of Jean Monnet chair on “Citizen Europe”.

Panos Grigoriou is Professor of International & European Institutions at the University of the Aegean. He holds a PhD from the Faculty of Law of the University of Strasbourg and a Diploma from the Institut des Hautes Etudes Européennes de Strasbourg. He is holder of Jean Monnet European Chair on Citizen Europe. Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences of his University during the period 2014-2017. He directs two master programmes : European Integration & European Societies and Management of migratory and refugee flows in Europe. He teaches at several European universities : Luxembourg, Nantes, Cadix, Paris 8, etc. His writing work focuses mainly on the protection of human rights, European
institutional law, international law, etc. He has been awarded the Chevalier de lordre des palmes académiques of the French Republic.
